Many women tell me they feel like pregnancy has started, but care hasn’t.
You might not have told anyone yet.
You may be waiting weeks for your first appointment or scan. Meanwhile, your body is changing rapidly, and the responsibility already feels real.
This guide is here to offer a roadmap during that in-between space, without adding more rules or pressure.

I’ve spent over a decade supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood, as well as being a mum of 3 myself.
My approach blends evidence-based care with deep listening and practical guidance, so you can feel informed, supported, and more at ease in your body.
I work online with women across Australia and New Zealand, specialising in women’s health, pregnancy, postpartum care, and children’s health. I speak both science and plain English (most days, as long as I've had my coffee!)

I acknowledge the Awabakal and Worimi peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live, work and raise my children. I honour their enduring connection to the land, waters, skies and stories of this place — a connection that has never been broken. I pay deep respect to Elders past and present, and to the knowledge and care carried through generations. I extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and recognise the strength, wisdom and sovereignty that continues today.
May this land be a place of learning, healing and shared respect — always.
